The price of oil has over the last few years increased to record high levels. This has led to that the main raw material for bale wrap poly ethylene has increased in price. Contractors and farmers are also facing new challenges as energy prices increase and prices for dairy and meat products are under pressure.
In 2004 Trioplast started developing the new generation of Balewrap - pre-stretched Balewrap. Besides several trials and evaluations within the company, field trails has been carried out around the world: in England, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, the US, Finland and Sweden.
Quality studies on bales wrapped with Trioplus® have been done by the Swedish Agricultural University (SLU) before sales started around Europe.
Advantages with Trioplus®
When the grass is ready to be harvested it is important to get forage with good quality. The weather changes quickly, several fields must be harvested at the same time. Everything that can be done to minimise the time to process each bale is vital as is important - this leads to better economy.
Trioplus® gives 30% more output per roll which leads to better capacity and better economy in the field, less reel changes and less standstills, when wrapping a bale, compared to a standard 25µ film.
Trioplus® works without changes to the settings of the wrapper. This gives more flexibility if you want to change the film for different customers and applications.
Independent trials at the Swedish Agricultural University (SLU) have shown that the pre-stretched film manufactured by Trioplast give bales with excellent air tightness. By minimizing the loss in forage the economy improves.
